On Wednesday, December 11, 2018, in the heart of Boston, Bunker Labs and WeWork co-hosted a pre-launch event for the Veterans in Residence program.
Guests gathered at WeWork South Station, the future home of the 15th WeWork Veterans in Residence Powered by Bunker Labs, a national program that helps veterans and military family members grow their small businesses and startups.
Speakers included Secretary Francisco Ureña, Massachusetts Department of Veterans’ Services, and Commissioner Giselle Sterling, City of Boston, Veterans’ Services. Both shared enthusiastic support of this first of its kind program for Bostonian veterans and the military connected community. During a Q&A on stage, Steve Forti, a New York City Veterans in Residence Member, shared the impact the program had on the growth of his global fitness app, FitFight.
