Jon Reed – IA MED

Why do you attend Bunker Brews?

As a small business owner, Bunker Brews has been invaluable for connecting creating a sense of community for me as I’ve transitioned from active service and it has offered me a massive network of potential clients and vendors. It’s also given me unfettered access to tested business executives that provide tremendous mentorship and opportunities for my own business.

Have any of the events sparked an idea that you’ve since pursued?
Absolutely. I think every time I attend an event I leave with a new prospect. Whether it’s someone to do my video production, a partnership with a non-profit, or the incorporation of a new technology into my workflow, Bunker Brews always keeps my mind percolating.

How many Bunker Brews (or other Bunker Labs networking events) have you attended?
I’ve attended three Bunker Brews.

How would you describe your business and the stage it’s at?
We provided critical care training to flight paramedics throughout the US. We focus on high-quality student experiences that leave our customers excited and inspired to apply their new skills. We also provide mission-specific contracts to special operations units in the military. We are entirely bootstrapped and we are generating positive cash flow.

IA MED provides the premier instruction and educational materials for paramedic professional development. We specialize in Flight (FP-C), Tactical (TP-C), and Critical Care (CCP-C) Paramedic Certifications offered by the IBSC.

We also offer custom training and certification management solutions for large businesses.
